This is an experience that my mom had a few years ago.
My mom had recently lost her older sister and was missing her very much. After reading a magazine that contained some angel stories that involved people asking their deceased loved ones for a sign, my mom decided to ask her sister to give her a sign to let her know that she was okay.
My mom did not ask for a specific sign, but simply asked that her sister give her a sign to let her know that she was okay and that she was happy. She asked her sister to make it an obvious sign, one that she would not miss.
A few days later, my dad noticed that the old clock that my parents have hanging on their living room wall was open. It is a clock with a chime in it and you have to unlatch a hook to open it and wind it up with a key.
My parents ceilings are over 12 feet tall in their living room, and the clock is hung half way up the wall, up too high for anyone to reach by standing on the ground or even a chair. You can only reach it by a ladder.
My parents have not wound that clock in years because my dad hates when it bongs. So, it simply sits hung on their wall, but does not tell the correct time.
My dad noticed that the latch was unhooked, and the case of the clock was open. My dad assumed my mom had tried to get up to it to wind it and set the time.
My mom however had not touched it. My mom also had no clue as to why the clock was left open.
Then my mom recalled her request to her sister. My mom laughed.
My mom's sister has the same clock, and she loved her clock too. But apparently her husband, just like my dad, hated it when the clock would bong, so she never wound her clock either. Like my parent's clock, my aunt and uncle's clock simply hangs on their wall as well, not giving the right time.
My mom felt comforted, and took it as a sign from her sister that she is in a very happy place, and that she is just fine.
The clock as you can see, sits way up high on the wall
A closer shot of the clock, dust bunnies and all
The clock as it was found, opened

Throughout my entire life, as far back as I can remember, I have had experiences that one could label "paranormal". Through my experiences, I have come to the realization that there is far more to this world and this universe of ours than we can possibly even begin to imagine. I very much believe without a doubt, that when our physical body dies, the part of us that makes us who we are; our energy, our essence lives on.
If you would like to reach out to me or wish to share a personal experience, I would love to hear from you!
